Paisley!

Paisley
Introducing Paisley Collection by PattyB Scraps
I've always liked paisley. I even had a pair of corduroys with a paisley print on them, with these same colors!   That was in the early 1970's.  I dress a lot more conservatively now, LOL!

The Paisley Collection by PattyB Scraps is perfect for digital scrapbooking your photos of the women and girls in your life.  There are pink, mauve and purple tones along with lovely mint green and a soft light taupe.

Paisley or paisley pattern is an ornamental design using the buta (Persian) or boteh, a teardrop-shaped motif with a curved upper end. Of Persian origin, paisley designs became very popular in the West in the 18th and 19th centuries, following imports of post-Mughal Empire versions of the design from India, especially in the form of Kashmir shawls, and were then imitated locally. Although the fig- or almond-like form is of Persian origin, its English name derives from the town of Paisley, in West Scotland, a center for textiles where paisley designs were produced.  To learn more, see Wikipedia’s post.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paisley_(design)
